Welcome to Recreational Fishing

Each television episode will feature a host and a professional fishing guide, plus state-of-the-art 3D animation clips to help the viewers understand what is occurring under the water. The fishing excursions will include trips to lakes, rivers, steams and ocean fishing. Destino will take the production crew to Alaska and Cabo San Lucas to film several episodes that will highlight the best sport fishing in the world. No other fishing program covers as broad of range of recreational fishing or provides 3D animation and industry information to engage the audience.

Recreational Fishing Podcast is in production for a March 2006 release. The podcast is scheduled to be a twice weekly program which listeners will be able to download and listen to free of charge. The podcast is a 30 minute program with feature vignettes that will provide insight about products, locations, individuals and other elements to engage the listening audience. Planned programming also includes periodic video podcast releases and PDF coloring book pages for children.

Recreational Fishing TV is currently in production for a Fall 2006 release and will include 52 [26 english + 26 spanish] episodes divided into subsets of four core types of fishing. The program’s target audience will be predominately men but also formatted to be inclusive to women. Destino TV is incorporating women as the host for many of the programs to encourage women to get involved in fishing. Each episode is designed to capture the majestic beauty of the featured location, helpful tips to reel in the target catch, the thrill of the experience and conclude with either (a) suggestions how to cook what we caught on the program or (b) feature vignettes about the recreational fishing industry. All fishing programs are multi-camera productions filmed on location to highlight locations throughout North America.
